& Comedy Replaces Tragedy
In the Ballet Art
Trudi Schoop, comic ballet artist, is scheduled
to appear at the Philharmonic auditorium Feb. 3, 4, and 5,
L. E. Behymer announced today.
Miss Schoop is a Swiss, who started out in life as a mimic
in Zurich, Switzerland, and soon became such a favorite
in her home surroundings she formed a troupe and traveled
throughout Europe, the impresario said.
She is touring America for the first time with her
ballet. Miss Schoop performs in much the same manner
which made Charlie Chaplin famous, he said.
Miss Schoop is being brought to Los Angeles
by S. Hurok.
