& Beach Suit Designed

      By Chaplin Actress

Paulette Goddard, who has been chosen by Chaplin

to play the lead opposite him in his next picture

soon to be released through United Artists, is an ardent

sun-worshipper.

Naturally, she‘s an authority on beach wear. Paulette

has designed for herself a combination bathing

suit and sun suit that bears copying. It‘s made of a ribbed,

knitted fabric with a draw-string that ties in a bow

at the neck and crosses over a deeply-cut back. In the

privacy of one‘s sun porch the draw string may

be loosened to permit exposure of the neck, chest and

shoulders.

The Chaplin comedy, now in production, is as yest

untitled.
