„How do you spell it?“

Editorial content. „Spell Chaplin

      It‘s a story Robert E. Sherwood tells.

Two old gentlemen were having lunch in the Knickerbocker

Club here recently. One said: ,I have just seen a most

amusing movie. Charlie Chaplin is in it.‘

      ,Who?‘

,Charlie Chaplin. He swallows a penny whistle

and then commences to hiccup. I literally laughed until

my sides ached.‘

,I must go to see it,‘ said the other fossil, taking

out his notebook. ,I‘m sure to forget unless I put it down. Now,

what did you say the name was?‘

      ,Charlie Chaplin.‘

      ,How do you spell it?‘“
