& DOUBLE BILL AT CRESCENT

      „The Vampire“ Punctuated by „Tillie‘s

      Punctured Romance.“

Crowded houses greeted the presentation of a double bill

yesterday at the Crescent Theater, and the traditions

of poor theatrical business during Holy Week seem likely to be set aside this year. The Crescent programme begins

with three reels of the popular film, „Tillie‘s Punctured Romance,“

which features Marie Dressler and Charles Chaplin

in a series of ridiculous adventures, all excruciatingly funny,

made all the more laughable by their very absurdity.

The remaining three parts are sandwitched in between the acts

of „The Vampire.“
