Charlie Chaplin Today.
Local theatre goers will find an exceptionally strong program
at the popular Orpheum theatre, matinee and tonight.
Manager Bauer has made arrangements to show Chaplin‘s
latest Mutual comedy, „The Pawnshop,“ matinee and
tonight only. This change in dates has been made on account
of the regular Chaplin date of November 22 would
conflict with a big special feature that is coming to the
Orpheum; one you should not miss by any means.
The Pawnshop is another of the Chaplin style like The Count,
being a laugh from start to finish, and Charlie in his
regular make-up, the one that has made him the most famous
comedian in the world. (...) This double program is sure
to play to crowded houses, so as many as possible should try
and attend the matinee today, which will be given
at 3:30. The complete performances tonight, starting at 7
o‘clock, sharp, and the prices are right for this double
bill. Again we say, do not miss seeing Charlie Chaplin in „The Pawnshop,“ one day only, today.
