„Worth Seeing“

Editorial content. „At the Empress

      An insight into the doings of secret orders, most

particularly what happens inside the initiation

chamber of horrors, is set forth to the pleasure of the Empress

patrons this week in the headline act,The Wow Wows.

      There is enough comedy in The Wow Wows alone

to make the bill worth seeing, yet with the comedy, I Died,

in the same week‘s booking it is doubly so.

      I Died shows a husband, supposedly dead, listening

to his wife and his best friend making love over his bier. The

act lacks nothing funny.

      Harry Sauber is a Hebrew comedian who finds

a warm reception with the audience.

      Very choice trumpet selections are those of Miss Inez

Lawson, a young woman who wears ,some gown.‘

      Everybody has heard Ay Bane a Swade From North

Dakota, but Girard of Biele and Girard sings it again

in a manner that is good enough to bring down acclaim.

      The Three Alex are opening the bill with aerial

acrobatic stunts that will please.“

Redaktioneller Inhalt. „Im Empress, Ein Einblick in die

Tätigkeiten von Geheimbünden, hauptsächlich was sich

in der Einweisungskammer des Horrors zuträgt,

wird zum Vergnügen der Empress Kundschaft im Titelstück

The Wow Wows diese Woche geboten.“

      „Es gibt genug Comedy in The Wow Wows allein um das

Programm sehenswert zu machen, doch mit der für die

gleiche Woche gebuchten Comedy I Died gilt das gleich doppelt.“

      „I Died zeigt einen für tot gehaltenen Ehemann,

der seiner Frau und seinem besten Freund zuhört, wie sie über

seinem Bier Liebe machen. Der Sketch lässt keinen

Spass aus.“

      „Harry Sauber ist ein hebräischer Comedian, der vom

Publikum warmherzig aufgenommen wird.“

      „Mit auserlesenen Trompetenklängen wartet Miss Inez

Lawson auf, eine junge Frau, die „etwas Kleid“ trägt.

      „Jedermann hat Ay Bane a Swade From North Dakota

gehört, aber Girard of Biele und Girard singt es in einer Art neu,

die für stürmischen Applaus sorgt.“
