BEN H. GRIMM, for some time connected with the editorial
stuff of the Moving Picture World and one of the most
popular of the motion picture trade paper men in New York, has
joined Uncle Sam‘s war forces and has probably earned
the distinction of being the first of the New York picture trade paper
men to volunteer his services for war. (...)

latest. The offering contains about five big splashes
of laughter and a whole tidal wave of giggles. We get a new
line on the Chaplin walk. Charlie comes across
in a steamer with other immigrants. He meets a girl whom
he later drags to the marriage license bureau.

Comes Across With a Bang.

IN The Immigrant Charlie Chaplin comes across with about
five big, spontaneous splashes of laughter and a tidal
wave of giggles. In the latest Mutual-Chaplin we get a new,
and, if possible, funnier idea of the famous Chaplin walk.
This happens when the boat rolls. In fact, the rolling of the boat
furnishes Charlie with opportunities for laughmaking
all during the first reel. There is some uproariously funny stuff
pulled when the bunch of immigrants go to the messroom
