Charlie Chaplin, now on tour of the United States in behalf
of the third Liberty loan, has been drafted for the
army and will probably enter the service in June, according
to a report from the Los Angeles exemption board.
Chaplin, who is an Englishman, has waived his exemption
rights and will serve in the United States army.
