begins in this issue of „Better Theatres,“ a series
of articles which should be missed by no exhibitor interested
in motion picture presentation.

Circuit announces that Charlie Chaplin‘s new picture, „A Dog‘s
Life,“ will be given its premiere in Chicago at McVicker‘s
and the Rialto theatres the week of April 15. The picture will
be the headline attraction at these houses, which are
controlled by Jones, Linick and Schaefer. The following week
the picture will go the outlying houses. Twenty-two
prints are available for this territory.

& The Rialto and McVickers theatres will be the first to run
the initial Chaplin picture for the First National
entitled A Dog‘s Life. The date set is April 14. We‘re going
