New York exhibition policy for Chaplin‘s „The Great Dictator,“
which calls for its simultaneous presentation in two
theaters at varying scales, will be duplicated in important
key cities.

the end of its long run at the Astor, with a take of more
than $500,000, three more two-a-day runs are shaping up.
First will be Charles Chaplin‘s „The Great Dictator“
reported to open on Oct. 15 – at the Astor as a two-a-day, $2,20
top, reserved seat run, and at the Capitol continuous,
unreserved at 75 cents to $1.10.
