„You are advised to stay away“
Editorial content. „CHAPLIN AGAIN TODAY
The Princess theater offers a double bill today that cannot
help but please every patron of this popular house.
Of course the big Chaplin comedy is the feature attraction.
The title of the third of the Chaplin series is called
The Pawnshop, and it is said to be even better than any of the
others, if such a thing is possible. Anyway it is a scream
from first to last, and if you are physically constituted so that
it hurts you to laugh long and often, you are advised
to stay away.“ (...)
Princess Theatre, 230 East William Street, Wichita.
The Pawnshop is the sixth Chaplin Mutual
comedy, not the third.
