& Garrick.
Starting with the matinee today, a film fan‘s fun fest will
be held at the Garrick. Charlie Chaplin, the comedian
of comedians, will appear in his latest and greatest creation,
„The Pawnshop.“ Unusual comedy situations occur
in this Mutual masterpiece, and the two reels are said to be
just one long laugh after another. The lobby of the
Garrick will be transformed into a pawn shop during the
showing of the picture, and a novel display of
alarm clocks, watches, knives, clothes, musical instruments
and other elements of a loan emporium has been
arranged.
A dramatic attraction of particular merit will be
the running-mate of this unusual feature.
