& MARKET STREET

CHARLIE CHAPLIN, in his latest two-reel farce,

„The Count,“ will be the main attraction at the

Market Street Theater for the week, beginning this afternoon.

During the action of the hilarious comedy, Chaplin

introduced many new „bits of business,“ and is said to justify

once more his title of as the greatest laugh-maker

in the world.

A splendid cast will be seen in the support of the comical

star, and will include Miss Edna Purviance, whose

ability and beauty have helped in a material degree to make

the Chaplin pictures the most popular comedy offerings

on stage or screen.

Other players who will appear and help in the merriment

are Eric Campbell, Leo White and Charlotte Mineau.

      Comedian Appearing in Hilarious Farce,

      „The Count“

Charlie Chaplin made his reappearance on the local screen

yesterday at the Market Street Theater in the hilarious

farce, „The Count.“ It is the type of motion picture farce that

brings out the best work of this comedian.

„The Count“ is possibly the best Chaplin that has

been brought out in a very long time. Edna

Purviance, the pretty film star, is again Chaplin‘s leading lady.
