„Breaking Into the Movies“ (which becomes King Vidor‘s

comedy „Show People“). By way of pay, Charlie gets

Marion and William Haines to sign their names in his famous

autograph album.

      While Charlie Chaplin is celebrating the appearance

of a second heir in his Hollywood home, his new

picture, „The Circus,“ is being prepared for release. A shot from

the production shows that he has made alterations

in his famous costume. The young woman is Merna Kennedy,

his new feminine lead.
