My Dear Real:

I want to tell you how much I enjoyed Al Jolson in „The Jazz

Singer“ at the Grand Theater last night.

My wife and I just returned from a ten days‘ trip to New York,

during which time we saw ten of the outstanding shows,

among them Rio Rita, for which we paid $11,00 a seat on New

Year‘s Eve.

I can truthfully say that the show I saw at your theater

last evening gave me more real enjoyment than any show

I saw in New York. (...)

Although you were good enough to provide me with passes,

I am enclosing my check for $5.00 to help you defray

the tremendous expense you must have incurred to secure

this attraction.
