Eltern geboren und verbrachte eine schwere Kindheit

im Armenviertel von London. Mit 10 Jahren half er seinen

Eltern schon auf der Varietébühne mit kleinen Tricks,

mit 15 Jahren wanderte er allein von Varieté zu Varieté

in England, mit 20 Jahren wurde er Mitglied der

bekannten Truppe ,Karno‘, die mit der Nummer Eine Nacht

im Londoner Varieté die Bühnen der Welt bereiste.“ (...)
