      Demand for the two-reel Chaplin comedies produced

by Lone Star for release through Mutual exchanges

has been consistently heavy under Mutual‘s new booking

plan. Chaplin-Mutual specials played last

week in 1,692 houses in all parts of the United States.

      Virtually every booking of the 1,692 was 

at least a second run, in some instances the pictures had

been run as many as twenty times and in one
