GAY RECEPTION OF CROWD‘S WELCOME
A Manchester Visit
(From our London Staff.)

years,‘ he said. ,The story of City Lights was very complicated,
and it took me two years to simplify it. As one gets older
one gets very meticulous. I may do some experimental work with
the talkies, but if I do it will be on entirely new lines.“ (...)
„Mr. Chaplin has received a tremendous welcome when
he arrived at Plymouth earlier in the day on the Mauretania.“
