„Seven thousand persons on Sunday“
Editorial content. „Charlie Chaplin, in A Burlesque on
Carmen, attracted over seven thousand persons to the Avenue
theater on Sunday, April 30, the first day of the showing.
Prices were 25 cents for the first floor. The picture was shown
in Detroit for the ensuing eight days to immense business
under the auspices of C. W. Deibel, of Youngstown, Ohio, who
leased the Avenue theater for the eight-day period.“
