Famous Film Comedian to be Seen in Latest

and Funniest of His Screens (...)

Charlie Chaplin will be the star of the programme next

week at the Market Street Theater, appearing in his

latest Mutual comedy, „Behind the Screen.“ It is claimed for

this picture, the seventh to be released through the

Mutual service, that it is the funniest of the Chaplin productions,

and that it contains in its rapidly moving scenes every

humorous situation of which comedy or farce is capable. it is

the first to disclose to the world the story of screened

actors, and though the story is told in a highly humorous way,

it still exhibits with graphic realism the life which is

lived by „studio actors.“ The largest cast that has yet appeared

with Chaplin will be seen, and will include the beautiful

Edna Purviance and the giant, Eric Campbell.

This week‘s programme at the Market Street is attracting

wide attendance.
